Per celebrare l\u2019arrivo degli Anni Venti del Terzo Millennio, Doria 1905 intraprende un nuovo viaggio attraverso il tempo e le emozioni della memoria, ripercorrendo\u00a0quelli che furono gli anni dell\u2019affermarsi del marchio all\u2019inizio del \u2018900.<\/span><\/p>\n

Come ormai di consueto, Doria 1905 esprime la sua anima pi\u00f9 autentica attraverso il suo personale modo di viaggiare, \u201ca cappello\u201d, con spirito d\u2019avventura e di scoperta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il treno costituisce il mezzo attraverso il quale abbattere le barriere spazio-temporali tra Passato e Futuro, il cappello diventa la costante e la chiave di lettura del continuo ed incessante manifestarsi della Storia e della Cultura. Il magico e affascinante binomio che ne scaturisce, funge da \u201cEpifania\u201d per il viaggiatore che, con lo spirito libero, fluttua nello spazio e nel tempo alla ricerca delle proprie origini e del proprio destino.<\/span><\/p>\n

La nuova ADV Doria1905, e alcuni degli scatti del catalogo, sono stati ambientati nel Museo Ferroviario di Lecce, situato nelle ex officine delle Ferrovie dello Stato dell\u2019omonima citt\u00e0. Tale museo ospita antiche locomotive a vapore e carrozze d\u2019epoca dotate tuttora degli arredi originali, dagli Anni Dieci fino agli Anni Settanta, capaci di restituire il sapore autentico che accompagnava i viaggi d\u2019antan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gli Anni Venti del 900 e gli Anni Venti del nuovo millennio dialogano in un immaginario incontro, interpretati nella collezione mediante lo stile unico e riconoscibile \u201cdoriano\u201d con materiali e forme che seguono una naturale evoluzione, tra heritage e innovazione.<\/span><\/p>\n

I rasi, i velluti e gli aspetti lucenti dei materiali degli anni ruggenti dell\u2019et\u00e0 del jazz, rivivono oggi nei cappelli dalle finiture scamosciate e luminose, i classici tweed giocano con la dimensione della trama, i tricot virano in lavorazioni che ne simulano l\u2019effetto, ma con leggerezza inaspettata, le tele degli abiti da lavoro diventano denim smerigliati, le cerate per la pioggia mutano in tessuti tecnici dalla trama canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n

I colori profondi e opulenti, Caramello, Ficomoro, Rubro, Azzurro Cala, Brughiera, Bistro, affiancano i grandi classici della maison, Nero Saraceno, Negroamaro, Tufo e Fumo, giocando tra loro in un mix speziato, sempre fedele ai colori della natura della penisola Salentina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le forme dei cappelli, ricercate con grande passione negli archivi Doria, sono valorizzate, reinterpretate e rese attuali da piccole modifiche nelle proporzioni, negli accostamenti e attraverso l\u2019inserimento di materiali contemporanei.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lo stile classico viene rivisitato dalle suggestioni e dalle trasformazioni del presente, mantenendo tuttavia intatti i valori sartoriali, arricchiti dalla costante ricerca e innovazione dell\u2019utilizzo di materiali di avanguardia tecnica.<\/span><\/p>\n

La capsule collection Toodoria, punta sui colori \u201cleit-motiv\u201d del brand, Saraceno, Negroamaro, Fumo e Argilla, in un susseguirsi di catene laccate e piccole borchie rubate alle decorazioni delle facciate delle case nobiliari del Barocco salentino. To celebrate the beginning of the Twenties in the Third Millennium, Doria 1905 takes on a new journey throughout time and the emotional memories, re-emphasizing the affirming years of the brand at the beginning of \u2018900.<\/span><\/p>\n

As its tradition, Doria 1905 exposes its most authentic soul through its personal way of travelling, \u201cby hat\u201d, with adventurous and discovery spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The train is what takes down the barriers of space and time between Past and Future; the hat becomes a constant and the key to read the continuous and unending manifestation of History and Culture. The result is a magic and fascinating binomial which works as \u201cEpiphany\u201d for the travelers who freely float in space and time to find their own origins and their own destiny.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new ADV Doria 1905, and some of the shots from the catalogue, took place at the Museo Ferroviario in Lecce, which is located in the old offices of the federal train stations of the city. The museum hosts antique steam locomotives and old carriages that still have the original decors, which are dated between 1910s and 1970s and which are capable of recreating the authentic feeling of the ancient journeys.<\/span><\/p>\n

The twenties of the tenth century and the twenties of the new millennium interact in an imaginary meeting, where they are represented in a collection of unique and distinguishable Doria\u2019s style by using textiles and shapes that follow the natural evolution, between heritage and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shaved, the velvets, and the shiny characteristics of the materials from the years of Jazz are brought to life through the hats which have suede and luminous touches, classic tweeds that play with the reality of the plot, tricots that vary in elaborations. However, with unexpected lightness, the working clothing textiles become frosted denim, and the waxes for the rain mutate in technical materials of the \u201ccanvas\u201d theme.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deep and wealthy colors, Caramello, Ficomoro, Rubro, Azzurro Cala, Brughiera, Bistro, go along with the maison\u2019s traditional Nero Saraceno, Negroamaro, Tufo e Fumo, playing with each other in a spicy mixture, always loyal to the colors of nature in the Salentino\u2019s peninsula.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shapes of the hats, researched with great passion in the Doria\u2019s archives, are valued, reinterpreted, and modernized by small edits in their proportions, combinations, and through the insertion of contemporary textiles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The classic style is revisited by modern suggestions and modifications, maintaining the sartorial cores, and enriching them with constant research and innovation with the use of materials characterized by avant-garde technique.<\/span><\/p>\n

The capsule collection, Toodoria, highlights \u201cleit-motiv\u201d colors of the brand, which are Saraceno, Negroamaro, Fumo e Argilla, and it continues with lacquered chains and small studs taken from the decorations of the privileged houses built in the area of Barocco in Salento.<\/span><\/p>\n
