We have the pleasure to introduce to our readers the very young Venus Ferrari, an English <\/span>singer (model)\u00a0 who temporarily lives in Italy and that of her future knows what she wants to do. As you can see the interview was made in double language, Italian and English. Very long interview with very thought out answers and clarity… As we wrote in the title, Venus has a character very similar to the people of South Italy and besides singing and posing what you want more or as our Anglo-Saxon friends say, taking it from an advertisement of George Cloney, what else? Come sei di carattere?<\/strong> \u201c<\/em>Sono una gran ribelle, odio le regole e non le considero per niente, sono determinata, carica e ci metto il cuore in ogni cosa che faccio. Tanti mi dicono che ho un carattere poco inglese e invece molto meridionale, e questo lo prendo sempre come un complimento. Sono estroversa e selvaggia che sia su un palco o davanti alla fotocamera<\/em>\u201d<\/em>. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What are you like Character-wise?<\/strong> \u201c<\/em>I\u2019m a Huge Rebel, I hate rules and I don\u2019t follow them. I am determined, energetic and everything I do I do with all my heart. Lots of people tell me I have a very southern character more than an English one, and I always take this as a compliment. I am extroverted and wild whether it\u2019s on a stage or in front of a photo-camera<\/em>\u201d<\/em>. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ti consideri una persona determinata?\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cS\u00ec anche troppo determinata, ho obbiettivi precisi e molto chiari e non mi fermo davanti a nulla per ottenerli. Mi ritengo una persona molto ambiziosa e credo sia giusto lottare per realizzare i propri sogni e vivere una vita meravigliosa invece di accettare la mediocrit\u00e0 di qualunque compromesso. Senza limiti, senza compromessi e con tanta determinazione credo che chiunque pu\u00f2 arrivare agli obbiettivi che si \u00e8 posto\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you consider yourself a determined person?<\/strong> \u201cYes, even too much so. I have very specific and clear goals and I won\u2019t stop at anything to reach them. I consider myself a very ambitious person and I believe it\u2019s right to fight to realise one\u2019s dreams and to live a wonderful life, instead of accepting the mediocrity of any kind of compromise. With no limits, no compromises and plenty of determination I think anyone can achieve the goals they\u2019ve set out for themselves\u201d. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

You are English, what are some things that you miss about your Country? <\/strong>\u201cA lot of things, but above all – Trains that are on time. And also Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Costa Coffe, Sainsburys and all the other food and supermarket chains that aren\u2019t available in Italy\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quando hai iniziato a posare, ti ricordi la prima volta? <\/strong>\u201cIl primo shooting fotografico che ho fatto era per una mia band tempo fa ormai ed era l\u00ec che ho capito che oltre alla musica, mi trovavo molto bene davanti l\u2019obbiettivo anche in veste di Modella. Da l\u00ec ho deciso di intraprendere la strada parallela di fare la modella e adesso \u00e8 diventato il mio lavoro e mi da molte soddisfazioni\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

When did you start posing, do you remember the first time? <\/strong>\u201cMy first photoshoot was with one of my bands quite some time ago, and it was then that I realised that along with music, I also was very comfortable as a Model in front of the camera. From then onwards I decided to follow the parallel path of modelling and now it\u2019s become my Job and it gives me a lot of satisfaction\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quali sono i generi fotografici che preferisci e perch\u00e8? <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cIl mio genere fotografico preferito \u00e8 il ritratto, meglio se \u00e8 ambientato; foto che parlano e raccontano della persona fotografata, che trasmettono personalit\u00e0 e vita. Pi\u00f9 che un genere specifico, amo le foto che dicono qualcosa o trasmettono un\u2019emozione, oppure colpiscono per la loro originalit\u00e0 e creativit\u00e0. Tutti i generi possono essere interessanti se approcciato nel modo giusto\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What are your favourite photographic genres and why? <\/strong>\u201cMy favourite genre is Portraiture, especially if it\u2019s in a cool location; Photos that speak to you and tell you something about the person in the photograph, that transmit personality and life. It\u2019s not really about a specific genre; I love photos that say something to me, that express an emotion or strike me with their originality and creativity. All genres can be interesting if they are approached in the right way\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Tu sei una cantante, ci racconti come ti sei avvicinata alla musica? <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cLa musica \u00e8 sempre stata una cosa fondamentale nella mia vita. Ho iniziato a suonare il pianoforte a cinque anni, e poco dopo ho iniziato coi lezioni di canto. Da ragazzina cantavo Lirica e Musical Theatre e partecipavo a vari spettacoli e concerti. A 13 anni ho preso in mano la chitarra, e da l\u00ec \u00e8 iniziata la passione per la Musica Rock. Ho cominciato a scrivere le mie canzoni e formare le prime band e da quando ho conosciuto il mio produttore Lex Mars qualche anno fa mi sono dedicata seriamente e creare un progetto di rilievo internazionale\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

You are a Singer, tell us about how you first got interested in music? <\/strong>\u201cMusic has always been of the utmost importance in my life. I started playing the piano when I was five years old and shortly afterwards I started singing lessons. As a teen I sang Opera and Musical Theatre and I participated in lots of shows and concerts. At 13 I picked up the Guitar and fell in love with Rock Music. I started writing songs and forming my first bands, and then when I met my producer Lex Mars a few years ago, I seriously devoted myself to creating an International Level musical project\u201d..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quali sono i generi che fai? <\/strong>\u201cIo faccio il genere Glam-Pop – E\u2019 un genere creato da me e mio produttore Lex Mars che \u00e8 una mix tra il Glam Rock anni 80, il Pop Commerciale moderno e un filo di EDM. In alcuni pezzi c\u2019\u00e8 anche del Rap, sempre in combinazione con del sano Pop-Rock quindi \u00e8 un genere tutto nostro ma sempre molto mainstream e con un sound che pu\u00f2 arrivare a tutti\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What are your Genres?<\/strong> \u201cMy genre is Glam-Pop – it\u2019s a genre created by me and my producer Lex Mars, and it\u2019s a mix between 80\u2019s Glam Rock, modern Commercial Pop and a tiny bit of EDM. In some songs there\u2019s also some Rap, but always in combination with the Pop-Rock sound. So it\u2019s our own genre, but it\u2019s very mainstream and it\u2019s a sound that anyone can understand\u201d. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quanta importanza ha la musica nella tua vita? <\/strong>\u201cLa musica \u00e8 la cosa pi\u00f9 importante nella mia vita, senza di lei non potrei vivere. In ogni momento della mia giornata o ascolto la musica, o suono qualcosa, o canto o scrivo. Non sto mai zitta, faccio impazzire tutti cantando sempre e ovunque anche nei luoghi pi\u00f9 inappropriati\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

How Important is Music in Your Life? <\/strong>\u201cMusic is the most important thing in my life, I couldn\u2019t live without it. In every moment of my day I\u2019m either listening to music, playing something, writing something, or just randomly singing. I never shut up, I drive everyone crazy by singing everywhere and anywhere even in the most inappropriate places\u201d. \u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Hai una casa discografica di riferimento? <\/strong>\u201cAl momento sono prodotta dalla Superstar Productions, azienda fondata da me e il produttore Lex Mars, e curiamo la musica, la produzione, l\u2019immagine, i video, i live e la promozione, insomma facciamo tutto noi. Abbiamo avuto varie offerte da Etichette, incluso Major italiane, ma noi abbiamo intenzione di avere un contratto con un Major Americana, quindi lavoriamo per arrivare a questo obbiettivo tra breve\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have a Label?<\/strong> \u201cAt the moment I\u2019m produced by Superstar Productions, a production company founded by me and producer Lex Mars, we take care of the Music, the production, the image, the videos, the live shows and the promotion, basically we do everything. We have had various offers from different Labels, including Major Italian Labels, but our intention is to sign with an American Major Label, so we are working towards reaching that objective in the near future\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quali sono i tuoi hobby<\/strong>?<\/em><\/strong> \u201cGuidare. Sono appassionata di macchine e moto e se non fossi una musicista, sarei stata la prima pilota femmina della Formula Uno (sesta ndr). L\u2019autostrada di notte, alta velocit\u00e0, senza meta, \u00e8 il mio hangout preferito. E poi leggere, sono una nerd anche se non si direbbe e vorrei ci fosse il tempo di leggere ogni libro buono che sia mai stato scritto\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What are your Hobbies?<\/strong> \u201cDriving. I adore Cars and Motorbikes and if I wasn\u2019t a musician, I would have been the first female Formula 1 Driver (6th ndr). The highway at night, high speed <\/em>without a destination, is my favourite hangout. Also reading, I\u2019m such a nerd even though you wouldn\u2019t think so, and I wish there was enough time to read all the good books that have ever been written\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qual \u00e8 il tuo colore preferito? \u201c<\/strong>Non \u00e8 molto difficile indovinarlo – sono due – Viola e Nero. Ho i capelli viola e adoro il trucco viola, ma per tutto il resto (vestiti, accessori, auto, telefoni, qualunque cosa) preferisco l\u2019eleganza del classico nero\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favourite colour?<\/strong> \u201cIt\u2019s not very hard to guess – Purple and Black. I have Purple hair, and love Purple makeup, but for everything else (Clothes, Accessories, Cars, Phones, anything) I prefer the elegance of Classic Black\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Qual \u00e8 il tuo rapporto con il cibo? <\/strong>\u201cAdoro mangiare, anche troppo, e devo sempre stare attenta a non esagerare. Per\u00f2 sono vegetariana da quando ho 16 anni, perch\u00e9 amo gli animali e non mi sembra una cosa giusta mangiarli\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is your relationship with food like?<\/strong> \u201cI love food, and I always need to be careful to not eat too much. However I\u2019ve been vegetarian since I was 16 years old because I love animals and I don\u2019t think it\u2019s right to eat them. Plus it\u2019s healthier too\u201d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sono un maschiaccio nel cuore e vorrei sempre vestirmi come tale\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0What\u2019s your favourite and least favourite item of clothing? <\/strong>\u201cMy Leather jacket is my favourite item of clothing. As for my least favourite I guess it\u2019s lingerie and anything to flowery or excessively feminine. I\u2019m a tomboy at heart and I\u2019d always like to dress like one\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Scarpe basse o tacchi? <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cI tacchi ahim\u00e8 sono costretta a portarli per il mio lavoro, ma li odio profondamente. Fuori dal contesto di lavoro sono sempre con scarpe basse, o meglio ancora – scalza!\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

High Heels or No heels?<\/strong> \u201cI unfortunately have to wear high heels for my job, but I absolutely hate them. Outside of work I always wear low heeled shoes, trainers or even better – I go barefoot\u201d. \u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

An Accessory that you always have with you when you leave the house? <\/strong>\u201cDo Cigarettes count? \ud83d\ude00 Or a Bandana, on my head, around my neck or tied around my waist, I\u2019ve always got one somewhere around me cause they remind me of the freedom and the Rock\u2019n\u2019roll spirit of the 70s and 80s\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ti piace viaggiare o sei una sedentaria? <\/strong>\u201cViaggiare assolutamente! Non supporto la vita sedentaria, se non sono sempre in giro impazzisco. Ho viaggiato tanto nella mia vita e ho vissuto in varie posti diversi, ormai sono in Italia da qualche anno e sento gi\u00e0 il desiderio di trasferirmi in un posto nuovo. Non potrei vivere tutta la mia vita nella stessa citt\u00e0 o nello stesso paese, morirei di noia, idealmente prima di morire avr\u00f2 vissuto in ogni paese del mondo (o quasi) \u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you like to Travel or do you prefer a Sedentary Lifestyle? <\/strong>\u201cI love to travel. I can\u2019t stand a sedentary lifestyle, if I\u2019m not always on the move I go crazy. I have travelled a lot in my life and I\u2019ve lived in lots of different places. I\u2019ve been in Italy for just a few years now and I already feel the desire to move to somewhere new. I could definitely not live all my life in the same City or the same Country, I would die of boredom. Ideally before I die I\u2019d like to have lived in every single country in the world! \u201d. \u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Quale sarebbe la tua citt\u00e0 ideale per vivere?<\/strong>\u00a0 \u201cLos Angeles. E\u2019 la citt\u00e0 della musica, della moda, per lavoro e contatti \u00e8 meraviglioso. E c\u2019\u00e8 il clima che \u00e8 troppo perfetto e le persone sono molto aperti mentalmente. Ma poi anche Londra, la mia citt\u00e0, mi manca da morire la sua dinamicit\u00e0 e bellezza e la sensazione unica di sentirsi\u00a0 <<a casa>>. Sono una zingara nata, ma anche le zingare hanno un posto dove si sentono pi\u00f9 a casa\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is your Ideal City to live in? <\/strong>\u201cLos Angeles. It\u2019s the City of Music, of Fashion, for work and contacts it\u2019s fabulous. And there\u2019s the perfect climate and the fact that the people are very open minded. London too, my city, I miss it\u2019s lifestyle and beauty and the unique sensation of feeling\u00a0 <<at home>> \u00a0I\u2019m a born Gypsy but even a Gypsy has a place where she feels more at home\u201d.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ci sto lavorando ogni secondo della mia vita per realizzarli e sono fiduciosa che i risultati arrivano presto. Last question, is there a secret dream you\u2019d like to realise? <\/strong>\u201cI don\u2019t have any secret dreams – my dreams are big and definitely not a secret. I work everyday of my life to realise them and I trust that the results will come soon. You know how they say\u2026 Better a day as a Lion\u2026 :)\u201d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
